That Moment You Realise ThatYou Have Too Much Stuff

When I first set up this domain I had the genuine intention of becoming a daily blogger. All the latest beauty releases. It was going to be fab! Well, that was 6 years ago, and I don’t think I’ve even published a year’s worth of posts on this platform. In fact, it has mostly been posts explaining my absence and teasing with the promise of all the content coming your way that never materializes. Yeah, I suck!

A lot has changed in those years. I’m a Mum for a start, so time is a precious resource. I’m also one of those responsible adult types; you know, with a job and rent and bills. Yeah, that means very little in the way of disposable income and any I do happen to have goes toward paying off debt. So there was no way I’d be able to keep up with the volume of releases to make this site a must-visit for the latest news. And, in all honesty, I’m glad I didn’t end up following that path.

Yes, I still love makeup and beauty products. I’m so grateful for services like Klarna, otherwise, I wouldn’t be able to treat myself to some of the amazing offerings currently on the market. But I’m so much more than my love of makeup and beauty. I’m still an avid reader and I’m writing more than ever. I’ve been delving into personal development and forging a whole new path for my life. The experiences and information I have compiled in the past 10 years have shaped me differently and I can no longer confine myself to such a small box.

Going forward I don’t want to declare a niche. I want to share my journey to happiness. Becoming the best version of myself and building a beautiful life for our family. As ever, I have big plans. And, for once, they are actually coming together. I’ve gotten over some mental blocks and found methods that work for me. But mostly I’ve been sticking with the mantra, it’s about progress, not perfection. That doesn’t mean putting out any old crap, but doing the best I can at that moment.

I can’t wait to begin sharing this journey with you all over the coming year!
